So, what will definitely be there is a floor drain and a slight slope in that direction. That might possibly also be sufficient to pour something out occasionally? The floor drain is mainly there for safety reasons, in case something spills.
Besides the pure costs, it really also concerns space requirements, aesthetics, and more tiles on the wall.
And also in the utility room on the ground floor, actually, well actually (?), no basin is planned. However, wet grinding work on small workpieces, cleaning fish, or washing oily hands are not an issue for us either.
