... does the basement have to include an apartment? Did you want to build higher for the view? Would it possibly be an option to skip the basement entirely and start the house about 50 to 100 cm higher?

Where would the freight elevator be?

1. I don't understand. I see it in the drawing, but a freight elevator is just an elevator – so why are these areas furnished?

2. Elevator or not: the utility room remains in the north anyway and has little to do with the kitchen location, as long as the utility room is easily accessible from the kitchen. And even with a switch between living room and kitchen, it is still easily accessible.
