There is more thermal radiation the warmer something is. Due to the surface area, the underfloor heating operates at the lowest temperature and thus produces the least radiation.

Yes, in terms of outward effect, you are probably right so far , but only as long as we don’t have any outdoor facilities yet. We love contrasts; our house as a building mass is indeed intentionally cool and modern, but inside it looks quite different. We mix the cool modern with Bavarian charm in the cabin, lots of wood, planed floor, natural tree edges, mixed with modern elements. The outdoor facilities will also be more Bavarian traditional with lots of oak wood, cottage garden, etc.....

When the cabin will be presentable after we moved in six weeks ago, there will be photos from inside too.....if anyone is even interested at all
