Single-family house 2 floor plan variants decision

The house is overall planned with 670,000 including kitchen and garage, the land costs 200,000. We thought you could get something for that. Roof expansion is included from the general contractor without own contribution. The plans are from architects according to our specifications. Hello, that's correct, the plot and the incidental purchase costs for the plot are included in the 670K. We would have actually wished for a basement within the budget, but that's not possible given the soil conditions.

Variant 1 is at least better than Variant 2, but neither appeals to me. An excerpt from the development plan would be helpful.
