As far as I know, there is an architect who also represents Isowood on the side. planned with Ms. Forster and is satisfied (I was not convinced by the performance – the one of your likely architect even less). Likeable "chemistry," yes – but that is no more than "half the battle." I currently have a project in progress that was designed from this circle. Afterwards, Yvonne tackled it; the clients only had to modify it considerably less until it was ready for a decisive change.

We received a draft from our architect with which we "confront" the house builders who are candidates for us. They should then make an offer and then we'll see how to proceed.

I see it differently. Of course, there is a potentially increased risk when wishes lead to something being implemented "for the first time." In risk assessment, I place the highest priority on the attitude the executor has toward their profession, trade, employees, and customers, as well as the identification they have with the results of their work. Then it almost always turns out well, even if problems arise along the way. Sometimes even particularly well, because the desire for the challenge can awaken and inspire ambition. We have had this experience multiple times. The ultimate recipe for failing in the implementation of special requests is the hunt for the cheapest offer. The more unusual a special request is, the more the costs for high quality escape the common view of a price-performance ratio.

Now ... let me put it this way: "Your" S&K has not yet managed to establish itself as the benchmark ruler of the GU scene (or even just the carpentry businesses).

Do you also ask in a dual-track manner like I do (Question 1 about the realization of the requested individual design and Question 2 about the alternative of the closest possible proven counterproposal - regardless of whether it is called a model house, catalog house, or promotional house)? Also make sure to list a garage separately (because it is classically more often bought than built by oneself), and above all: include the basement or the slab (at least the construction management and responsibility for the result) in the contractor's scope of work for the house contract!

Of course not, and that is not the claim of a regional provider. From professional experience, I have directly dealt with approximately 75 carpentry companies in Germany and Austria. Some of them had an appropriate attitude towards their trade and took pride in their delivery quality. You can believe me that I have a very good understanding of construction craft companies of all trades, both commercially and regarding leadership challenges, from 6 years of professional experience between 2010 and 2016. In our construction project in 2018/19, this experience was naturally very valuable.
