I would still place the house on the building line and arrange the courtyard in the middle of the house. Then the carport next to the garages...

Sometimes I get the feeling that the forecourt/front garden/driveway/access to the property is not really noticed. The house is squeezed all the way to the front on even smaller plots to get as much "garden" as possible at the back. This then results in parking and access becoming a problem. I see it this way: enough time is also spent in the courtyard, so it also has its raison d'être. It is the first thing you see when approaching your house, so it may also be generous. But that is just my personal opinion. In your case, there is enough length and width available. And with this type of house (viewed from above), a roundabout suggests itself, with a beautiful house tree in the middle of the courtyard that one can walk around, and some bushes in the north of the property :)

Unfortunately, I can't quite follow you there.

...just for your information. North is at the top
To the north is a meadow
To the east the street
To the south the only direct neighbor with a garage on the border.
To the west a field

The blue line... (copying is not allowed on Bing + Google), the yellow line should be the building boundaries. I would place the house on the western building boundary so that you have enough space on the east (courtyard side) to put the carport next to your 2 garages, so that the house is not dominated by all the cars on the left and right. Besides, I would (in my opinion) not fragment the courtyard like that, but design it symmetrically to the house.

Understood?

Ah ;)

Unfortunately, that will not work. The setback from the northern boundary is 3 meters at least to the house. That is why I also thought of placing the carport there.

Construction is allowed between the yellow lines, which applies both to the house and to the carport/garage.

The utility room should actually be in the northeast and could therefore have access to the carport.
The rear part of the carport should serve as a windbreak for the terrace in the west and have a storage room in the back part.

I can’t think of anything better at least regarding house/carport/garage.

Björnar
