About the design/basic idea

??? If you have the space, you do take your friends in overnight, right?
Or are you planning an open-plan office? Do you have employees who come daily?
Why plan a roof conversion, i.e. a standard single-family house, if you "actually" have no need and no family, meaning no children for whom rooms must be reserved? Are there hobbies?

Hmm... without children, I wouldn’t standardize with a single-family house. They are not really optimal for couples. With the bay window, you then come to about 260 sqm...

Your current house seems much more creative, open, and usable.

So Word is for me initially only for the first draft. With it, you can quickly and easily do something like that, because I don't have to concentrate on it. That's why the question is what you else use to draw / plan.

No.

No.

No.

The attic conversion exists because we like it and upstairs in front of the window front there are two beds, then I can look kilometers into the green.

Basically it's true, you could simply build a bungalow, but we don't like that.
Also, I want the roof slope to be high enough so that a photovoltaic system can be optimally placed there.
Even on a bungalow we would put a concrete ceiling, accordingly the costs for such a roof are not significantly higher.

Many, but not in the house.

It will be 300 sqm. But not living space / usable space. I really don't think we planned for children. But yes, upstairs there could be one or two children's rooms.

We planned that ourselves too (yes with Word).
I would never do it that way again, why:

It is chic
It is modern
It is great
I will miss it

But:

It has no children’s rooms, making it harder to sell (I know what I’m talking about)
The openness has only disadvantages, my wife has visitors and I hear everything upstairs in the gallery or vice versa (That’s annoying).
Due to the open design and modern style you have problems with the acoustics.
Needs repainting, I need scaffolding (8m ceiling height)

Oh I can write more.

But yes it is beautiful

Then I haven't understood your upper floor yet. I was sure that you had planned an airspace there. Do you also have a floor plan of the upper floor?

And may I ask indiscreetly: are you building new because you no longer like the old one? Acoustics can be managed, and with your budget, I would simply have it painted. What is particularly important to you in the new building? In the questionnaire, you write on the question why it became like this, because you want it that way. But not why. That makes advising difficult.

Now I know what you mean
The red / pink colored area is the living area. Upstairs and I am standing in the room to be developed.

PS The rooms will of course all get doors, where the passages are.

Take a look at the draft from . Not that the houses are so incredibly similar, but rather 2 people and the view. Would plan the upper floor more. Large open living space similar to Somehow it’s a house for 4 people with a few walls left out. We also included the Christmas tree in the floor plan.
