I would be bothered by the "built-in" sofa, I would find it nicer if it were open. Upstairs, I would definitely plan the access to the bedroom through the dressing room and also put a window in the dressing room. That way you don't have the door directly next to the bed, which is quite disturbing.

So, today we worked on the floor plans again, and a new idea for the layout of the upstairs bathroom came up. Attached are the floor plan and a view.

how about (based on floor plan 4) moving the upper, vertical shower wall downwards so that the entrance to the shower is at the top. Then place the sink on the moved shower wall and position the bathtub vertically against the left wall.

Swap dressing room and bedroom, then one can continue sleeping while the other gets up earlier.

Idea: door between bed and dressing room, so both are quickly accessible. Just a suggestion. I am not a fan of having to go through the dressing room first.

In the bathroom [...] - it’s a winding labyrinth. It can be done better, I think.

That was also my first thought. I find variant 4 a good approach. But I would take a corner bathtub or place it diagonally in the corner. That way you have a “more fluid entrance” to the toilet area. I also would not do without a double sink, especially since your bathroom dimensions basically allow it. Maybe it really fits next to the shower wall?

would please me better as well. Then you could place a towel holder where the washbasin is currently drawn. Then you can grab the towel directly when leaving the shower.
