I found a photo in my gallery of the spot before the first chipping. Just to show that nothing fell on it. That’s how the spot looked back then, when I rubbed it the paint chipped off and the same thing happened now again..

As you can see, you see nothing - except gray, noise due to underexposure, and then a blurry spot, but it could also be a bright lint casting a shadow. … a tip Off Topic: Such damages or defects should be photographed in a way that allows the exact location to be identified a) in the room b) in the tub (top, side, bottom) The measuring tape, which should be placed on the damage, should also be visible in the overviews. Yes, and then focus: one should be able to recognize the outlines and what you describe.

Thank you for your tip, I would have applied it earlier if I had known that the paint would come towards me.

But now I know it for the future.

Update:

The manufacturer of the bathtub has accepted the complaint and will replace the bathtub at their own expense.

Currently, the tiler is being mobilized by the general contractor and will come next week; he will assess the situation on site to determine how the whole thing can be implemented and how many new tiles are needed.

I am giving a final update here:

the bathtub was replaced, the tiles were ordered from the GU and newly laid, and we paid exactly 0.00 €. Everything went smoothly, everything was done within 3 days!

Good thing I didn't let myself be talked out of making the complaint..
