Unfortunately, I still haven't understood how much space there is between the left wall and the door frame or whether the 90cm shower tray is fixed, but if you have more than 90 cm of space available, then I have the following suggestion:

Build a floor-to-ceiling wall segment on the left next to the toilet (e.g. about 30 cm deep) on which you can also attach toilet paper holders, etc.
In front of this, place the 90cm shower tray or glass wall, creating a "niche" at the rear area which can be designed as desired. We have created a seating option there ....

If the developer does not want to offer a half-height compromise between just a wall and just glass, I find it quite unlikely that they will be particularly convinced by this special request...

That may well be. In our case (general contractor) it was the cheapest and ultimately the best solution for us. Cheapest because the small wall stub and the seating recess caused hardly any additional costs. However, the shower solution with standard dimensions (glass wall) could be used without having to resort to more expensive "special solutions"....

We also had a GU and they would have done that as well. But if it really is a property developer here, then this inflexibility doesn't really surprise me.

Including the massive shower wall, there would still be 80cm of space between the wall and the bathtub. Is that enough for the toilet or is that already too tight? What width must or should one have for the toilet space?

Our bathroom planner said one meter should be planned. 80 cm is as wide as a pillow.
