Shortening wooden doors

Hello, I am currently shortening two wooden doors as well. At first, I wanted to use a sander, but I read the posts here beforehand and decided against it. These doors are made of solid wood, and today I worked on one door with the plane. Millimeter by millimeter was taken off. It is important to apply the plane evenly. It worked well, and the door fits again.
