If Pro is durable, that would already be an advantage. I've been regularly replacing my 2.5s with new 2PMs for a few months now.

Fortunately, the Homekit firmware has now also been released for it.

Anyone who knows wireless uses cables. Having it all centralized in the distribution is also absolutely understandable to me. I just find the Shelly app creepy; you should definitely think about an alternative visualization.

I've never had a problem. Neither with the 1 nor the 2.5. No connection losses or defects at all. Is that so? No problems with radio - at least for me.

Then your radio environment is sufficiently small and undemanding. Lucky you.

I have meanwhile installed 60 Shellys in the house. In addition, some other gadgets over Wifi. Incidentally, a small Zigbee network for a few lamps. Of course, you don’t get very far with a Fritzbox and/or repeater cobbling. But including the Unifi system (6 APs, various switches, etc.), I am still below the projected price of Loxone or KNX. Everyone as they like – and can do it themselves(!)
