Hello community,
I wanted to build a shed/garage on my property. I wanted to build directly on the boundary and have already found out the following things.
Maximum length of boundary construction is 9m. Maximum floor area is 49 sqm.
Now the question arises whether these specifications only apply to garages or also to sheds, although it is not quite clear to me what the difference between the two should be. (I assume because of a car, but I know some people who have "only" tools and bicycles in their garage as well.)
At the building authority, they told me a shed always requires permission and I can build a garage up to the size I mentioned above.
But no one could tell me what exactly counts as a shed and what as a garage!?
As a note: in my garage, there should be the car trailer, bicycles, a bit of a workshop, and of course storage, but NO CAR.
I would be grateful for any information :)
