You should rather get a 2nd offer. I find that quite expensive for just a few meters. Maybe you can also use the 2nd or 3rd offer as leverage. I pay just under 10k for setting 46 meters of L-stones, including L-stones and concrete, as well as paving 43 sqm of terrace slabs including materials and 15 meters of splash protection.

You can still get an offer, no one says you have to accept it and then you negotiate again with your farmer if he is obviously too expensive and otherwise he just makes one L-stone (for the sealing) the others are then set by someone else

No idea. We don’t have anything like that.
But with the earthworks invoices we have, I always noticed that the fixed position of the equipment/fleet, which was transported or driven to the construction site, was listed separately. And it is the case that special vehicles are expensive to acquire and are then reflected accordingly in the costs.
I imagine it’s an effort to lift these L stones and align them properly. It’s not done in an hour.
If it weren’t an effort, it might possibly also be done as EL. But that doesn’t work.

But 4 m set three thousand? That’s four stones side by side. Two people, one excavator, let’s be generous, one day. 16 hours times 50 equals 800. Excavator added 500,- 1300. Four stones no idea. Some earth, almost zero. We are far from three thousand. Karsten
