Separate water meter for the external tap point - connection

Hello everyone,

we can connect a separate meter for our outdoor tapping point to save wastewater.
The meter costs me €16.50, but I still need the connection so that I can connect it to the tapping point, and at the other end I need to be able to close the tap piece to connect my water hose. What adapters do I need?

The water meter is from Hornbach, item 7335625, can someone tell me which connection I need for it?

Get two brass threaded fittings with the matching internal thread diameter. Screw one part onto the faucet and the other onto the meter. This way you can remove the meter in seconds in the fall and store it frost-proof, and reinstall it just as quickly in the spring. By the way, I would have preferred a meter with a cover.

Why not? It is only through one external tapping point meter; so that the wastewater does not have to be calculated for it. Anyone who does not use it would be really stupid...

The water supply/disposal providers have the most interesting rules there. You have to look that up.

I can confirm ... you have to rent the sealed meter, then pay the plumber, have to pay everything first and then submit an exemption application. I roughly calculated it, not worth it. The municipality said the same. More likely done by companies like [Gärtnerei].
