Hi!

Has anyone here installed a separate water deficiency meter for their garden irrigation to save on sewage fees? It's not free, after all; I'm curious whether something like that pays off.

50€. It depends entirely on whether the water supplier accepts this.

The city advertises this on its website and normally I understand it that the water supplier is specified locally anyway.

So only one-time costs and nothing else? I would have thought there are also monthly fees.

That depends on your water supplier

Nope. The meter is usually owned, most often it should be calibrated. If the supplier accepts it, it will be included again after one year. Plan the outdoor water tap so that the meter is also possible.

I'll jump in here, same question. Do you really use that much water that the meter pays off? Do you have any numbers on that, Alex?
