Well, only one drilling for the cable is necessary. The price for the contact with 10m cable is under 30 euros. Hmm, I find the surcharge a bit exaggerated.

So it’s not even the full costs including electrical connection?! Ouch. Over €50 would be too much in my opinion, we were below that.

For me, it is most important that the windows withstand for a few minutes. If you believe the statistics/police, burglars give up after that. I also think it's not wrong to be better protected than the neighbors. Contacts, whether the windows are open or closed, have no value for me, since it is already too late then. I also do not need it to check whether I myself have closed everything.
