Second home - How to design the interior decoration?

I will be moving into a second apartment soon and have had little creativity so far in the interior design (furniture, etc.).

It is a one-room apartment, about 43 sqm with an open kitchen and a sleeping corner (see floor plan).

The current plan is to place a 1.80 m bed in the sleeping corner (which is about 1.95 m) and to mount a board along the entire length of the bed on the outside, which will serve as a nightstand (for smartphone, etc.). Alternatively, a board above the bed would be conceivable. I don't want a proper nightstand because then too much bed width would be lost (so different from what is drawn in the landlord's floor plan).



On the long side of the room, I would place the TV table with a TV wall and a small L-shaped sofa in front of it, as a divider of the room. On the other, longer side of the room up to the kitchen, a dining table, cabinet, and desk lengthwise in the corner up to the window to the balcony.

I don't have more ideas yet and look forward to feedback.

Why a 180 cm bed? Even for 2 people, a 140 cm or 160 cm bed would be enough in a second apartment. That one against the outer wall, nightstand against the partition wall. Wardrobe? I would traditionally separate the area with the wardrobe(s), so place it at the foot end. Are you expecting visitors? Who is it for now? Weekend or everyday?

Can only agree with Yvonne and then please either a drawing of your ideas or, with sentences like

I would have placed the TV stand on the long side of the room,

add the information whether right or left is meant.
