Hello,

I have a problem with the installation of a HANSAMIX single-lever single-hole washbasin faucet (01092283). The pre-assembled base gasket seems too high, as the faucet stands about 3 mm on the rubber gasket when inserted. Of course, the gasket is supposed to provide some distance to seal the faucet base when tightening. But when I install the crescent washer and tighten it, the faucet does not pull down but instead tilts forward towards the basin instead of fixing vertically against the surface and laying flat. That can't be normal!?

Is this a design flaw? Given the price and the brand, that shouldn't be the case. But the gasket is too high. What do you think and what do you recommend doing?

Here are a few pictures of the mentioned problem:

Hello, what diameter does the hole have?

The hole has a diameter of 35 mm. The white plastic ring, on which the gasket sits, is located IN the hole.

Could it be that the white ring is sitting on top, because I still see a smaller hole in the 1st picture, or is that an illusion?

No, the white ring sits completely INSIDE the hole. According to the installation instructions, the diameter of the ring (33.5 mm) is smaller than the diameter of the washbasin hole (35 mm). I would definitely notice if the ring was stuck - it is made of hard plastic. The gasket is the troublemaker. It is simply way too high.

I can't imagine that, because as shown, everything fits in the bore. You slipped the plate (in the description 5.3) on before the crescent plate (5.5)?
