Hello,
Wouldn't it be better to buy such an apartment for 100,000 EUR through a loan? Or a house for 200,000 EUR?
I am - for various reasons - not a fan of condominiums (ETW). ONLY - before you overstretch yourself with a new build or consider buying a second-hand property (in your price range, considerable costs for later renovation will be incurred) have another talk with an "independent" financing advisor and have them calculate exactly how much capital you have available at most. Then go out and see what the market offers in terms of ETWs; if it absolutely must not be a rental apartment.
Just please consider: if you have to use your entire monthly income for the loan installment - what happens when your child starts kindergarten and you have to contribute, for example, to craft materials or - not so rarely - the washing machine breaks down ... or, or, or. So don't push your financial pain threshold to the limit!
In case you misunderstood me: I wish everyone their little house - but I also think everyone should have an understanding when the financial means are not sufficient. And although in your case, imho, this is so, it's no reason to be down in the dumps or to feel inferior - in any form! No one defines themselves by property or assets - always by character; no matter what our current society may think about it ;)
Kind regards
