The situation for craftsmen does not seem to be so rosy anymore that one lets orders slip by

Yes, who knows. The scaffolding is now definitely in place and now we just have to hope that the rest will actually be installed next week. That would really take a weight off my mind. I will keep you updated.

Or there were other reasons why the craftsman has not been there so far. Not every craftsman is the incarnation of evil. In many companies, half the team has been down since the beginning of autumn.

But it is good manners among people to communicate that or speak openly. Easy as that. There is little to interpret when you can't get anything from the contractor for weeks.

There was more than enough time for everything. If you accept orders, you must either execute them or at least withdraw from them. My understanding is limited when dealing with such long time frames. But now the ball has been set in motion. Since May, nothing has happened.

And the whole summer as well, and the spring too. Unfortunately, the boss lost his voice and therefore couldn't call, and the secretary was sick all year and couldn't write anyone an email ;)
I would like to be a craftsman at your place...
