Once boldly beige, once subtly beige :)

Thank you very much for all the answers.

To be honest, I haven't really decided yet. I just googled on internet portals. Unfortunately (because of Corona) the selection takes place directly in the apartment and not in the tile shop. Hopefully there will be enough tile samples to choose from. The advantage of selecting in the apartment might be that you can better estimate right away how the tiles will look.

What I read today is that anthracite is supposedly quite sensitive to water spots. Also, I am planning to tile the hallway too, and it might be appropriate to use the same floor tiles as in the bathroom to make it look more harmonious. Anthracite-colored floor tiles in the hallway (no windows) could look a bit dark. Or do you think that is not necessary (hallway and bathroom having the same tiles), because the bathroom is a separate area?

I have also taken a look at beige now. Which color would fit the floor tiles with beige or cream-colored wall tiles? Should the tiles in the bathroom actually be glossy or matte? I think the floor tiles should definitely be matte. For the wall tiles, I really don't know what looks subtle but still good.

What program do you use to create these pictures? They look great and are a huge help. The bathroom wall will only be tiled up to about 1.20 m and the special floor tiles are definitely not included, but otherwise it is pretty close. Very good :)

I find dark tiles are already seen too often & the contrast to white is too harsh. As you yourself mentioned: the flooring in the hallway should be the same as in the bathroom if tiles are used and not too dark.

I think natural tones or a light concrete gray are especially popular (in matte). My favorite would be really large tiles 60x120 cm in a warm beige tone for floor and wall. Large tiles have fewer joints and are therefore much easier to clean and visually enlarge the space. For this, the grout should also have the same/similar color. (Available in different shades of gray, beige tones).

You could also choose other color-coordinated tiles at the sink as an accent.

Would you then use the same color (possibly beige or cream) on the floor and on the wall (approximately 1.20 meters high)? Wouldn't it be more harmonious if the floor is a bit darker than the wall?

Yes, I prefer that too. How about a nice taupe for the floor, where both gray and brown would fit? On the wall, white and/or cream/beige. Extend the taupe above the bathtub as an accent. I wouldn't tile the other wall on the right.
