I hope they are installed on prefabricated mats. Otherwise, the tiler will go crazy.

Mine is not something like that.

As a tile panel at the washbasin or bathtub or shower back wall as an eyecatcher, I find that awesome!

That reminds me of the checkered eyecatchers in the USA. HGTV sends its regards.

Yep! It's on right now. But even BEFORE HGTV there was already mosaic - and it's more of a classic. In the end, the classic is always filtered out in mainstream fashion taste. That also applies to other objects. I don't care if others only like average ;)

I also believe HGTV does not really reflect the mainstream in Germany in all aspects. For example, I rarely see roof tiles there. Almost always just shingles, cardboard, or metal. Then they often have these "top-hung sliding windows," which I have never seen in Germany. And I think insulation and heating have a much lower standard despite areas with harsh winters. As for the tiles, yes, I have also noticed that they really like those small honeycomb patterns. Also metro tiles, especially as kitchen backsplash tiles. You do see that more often in Germany too, but honestly only in showrooms. I have not seen that in a real house inhabited by average people either.

That's what I'm saying. I have seen it often :)
