Oh dear, we have the same problem. The first year our daughter went sledding, we left the sled with steel runners on the pavement. End of the story: two streaks in the concrete pavement.

I think I've tried everything.

Special cleaner from the hardware store. 180 bar high-pressure cleaner, sandpaper, etc. Vinegar essence, tile cleaner, and so on.

I can still see them :(

So the reference to Lithofin is not bad at first, as the products of this manufacturer have so far lived up to what was promised. Furthermore, the hints from the forum participants should be considered whether it is tiles or perhaps a natural stone that contains the rust stains. If they are ceramic tiles or concrete stoneware (which I do not believe), cola would be recommended! No, this is not a joke. Cola consists, besides a lot of sugar, of phosphoric acid flavored with flavorings, therefore a 3-protonic (and thus weak) acid. Get a makeup remover pad from your wife, moisten it well with cola and place the pad on the rust stain. Place an upside-down drinking glass on it, secure the spot against unintentional "kicking away" of the glass. After 1, at the latest after 2 days, a result should show. Keep the pad moist (with cola) during the application. Afterwards, rinse the treated spot well with clear water and dry it. ---------------- Good success: KlaRa

Thank you all for the tips. I have now received the advice to use 10% oxalic acid for granite tiles. I have ordered that and will give it a try. The thing with the cola is also pretty cool. :)
