Hmm. Until now, I have assumed that this would at least be necessary for efficient heat recovery?

My installer just wrote:

"I have forwarded it to Mr. xxxxxx from Tecalor.
However, he is also of the opinion that this is not the case with the split version (TTL 9.5 and separate ventilation TVZ 180).

Only with the compact device THZ 5.5 Eco, since here the waste heat from the ventilation system is used for heat recovery by the heat pump.

But he will have the technical department at the factory check it again."

Well... that doesn't help me either :D ultimately, COMMUNICATION must take place here, otherwise we will lose 5k!

Exactly. You should pay attention to that, provided you have applied to BaFa and received approval for this!? :)

You have to clarify this with the installer of the system. The communication between the two devices works with various methods. Since this is a requirement for you, it must also be fulfilled.

Why only the 180 ventilation system? Small house?

78m² on each floor (basement/ground floor/attic) - is the system too small?

The basement is only a utility basement, not a living basement.

This is what I read on the internet:

"As a central ventilation system, the TVZ 180 is suitable for supplying apartments, single-family homes, or smaller commercial properties of up to 250 m² of living space with fresh air in an energy-efficient manner."

Well, the 180 model can circulate up to a maximum of 250m³/h, which is (imho) really pushing the limit. What minimum ventilation was calculated for your house? If I were in your position now, I would at least take the 280 model, which delivers up to 350. That is a bit more relaxed and should be quieter during normal operation.

Although with Tecalor it seems to be the same device and probably just a software adjustment... So many questions.
