How wide does the rough opening for the HAR door need to be so that the boiler and hot water tank can also fit through? It is a single-family house.

88.5 cm should be enough. That gives a passage width of just under 82 cm.

Uh... now I'm confused. See architect and so on...

Exactly: "Architect" and so on...

He said that the equipment would not fit through a 76 cm rough opening and therefore wanted to plan part of the wall to the guest room out of drywall. I took a look at water storage tanks and such and found that they have a width of about 65 cm and they should probably fit through the door, right?

Well, if the devices are already 65 cm wide, then maybe there are still brackets around them to make them easier to carry, and the fingers that carry them are also somewhere. 76er shell construction is max. 71 cm finished.

I also find it too narrow.

Is the washing machine also there? Carrying the laundry basket through the door is always tight then.

The large AAA+ freezers from Bosch Siemens also do not fit through 76 cm doors—at most once, namely during the shell construction.
