Yes...because in my eyes, the obligation only makes sense for fast-reacting systems...

I agree. Can you tell me more about the procedure? Did you provide a comprehensive justification in the free text or initially just a "two-liner" with a brief explanation and then waited for the building authority's response? Duration, costs? Was it difficult to find a heating engineer who would go along with it?

I used the template from Bosy, have a look at "Bosy Online" you will find it there.

The heating technician from GÜ didn't really care (he still comes every year to service the boiler), the RTRs were simply excluded and not installed at all. I then used my installed RTRs in the "light switches" until the exemption was granted or also to see for myself if there was a difference with or without them... now they only show the temperatures etc. but no longer regulate anything.

To be honest, I no longer know how long it took... but I disconnected the RTRs after about a year because the gas consumption was practically identical with and without them. Only that with the RTRs I had additional electricity costs and needed more devices, which are now gone.

Do you then regulate your bedroom manually if necessary, or is it equally warm everywhere?

Not that. But the RTR and the actuator are not digital, are they? So if I set a lower temperature on the RTR, a smaller volume flow results, meaning the floor (on average over the area) becomes less warm (the difference between supply and return temperature increases). Sure, this is sluggish, but a sluggish control is still control.

In your picture, you can see setpoints and actual values for different rooms. What happens when you change the setpoint for a room?
