The China knock-offs as touchscreen room thermostats for 20€ work just as well as the expensive radiator thermostats from the well-known manufacturers. The well-known manufacturers of radiator thermostats used to have numbers next to the dial because the temperature was never accurate, now the newer ones only have ticks. At the set temperature, it opens, at 1°C above it closes again. In rooms with tiles as flooring, the differences are perceived more strongly. The temperature these things display is usually 1°C lower than the air temperature because the sensor measures directly on the wall. If you're unlucky, you might get one that quietly hums at a high frequency. Return it or install it somewhere in the basement or storage room.

... and in the end, the controlled residential ventilation with heat recovery comes in and it’s drafty in the house anyway. I will definitely include the exemption application for the ERR in the master plan. In my opinion nonsense, unnecessary costs and ugly too.

Yes, that's how it looks... many roads lead to Rome and you don't necessarily have to take the one prescribed by the legislator.
