How sensible are these individual regulations anyway? Yes, they are legally required. But with underfloor heating? It always takes a relatively long time for there to be a noticeable change in the room.

Individual room controls make sense for fast-responding systems, e.g. radiators and houses with relatively high heat losses.

In the case of surface heating systems and energy-efficient houses, these things are more like wall decorations.

Yes, I agree with you... I also hung something nice on my wall... since I only obtained the release one year after moving in... now the RTRs no longer have a function, but at least this way I always have the current temperature in view...

That's why I asked what your intention is...

I bought simple ones for under €20 each. With digital display. They do exactly what they're supposed to and still look pretty good.

Has anyone ever tried to be exempted from the ERR obligation? It is apparently possible upon application. The question is whether the hassle is worth it.
