Hello, is everything okay like this. Just make sure everything is nicely sealed airtight at the windows, gable, eaves, etc. Otherwise, even the best insulation is useless if it is air-permeated. The alu-coated foil on the insulation board is simultaneously the vapor barrier. So then.
Best regards, Dachspezi

which foil

Hello Dachspezi,
thank you for your information.

Which foil is best to use as a vapor barrier? Are there differences in thickness and design? Which manufacturer or type can you recommend?

Hello,

So you do not need a vapor barrier membrane, as the aluminum laminated on both sides of the insulation board counts as a vapor barrier membrane at Linzmeier and is approved. You only need a foil for windproofing, and I would take the foil from Linzmeier’s accessory program. Connect this foil well everywhere. Preferably with products from Siga, such as Primur on the roll, corner adhesive tapes, etc. It is best to have an outside representative from Siga come to the construction site at the beginning.

Best regards

Thank you very much!

Hello Dachspezi,

great, that definitely helped me. The first conversation with a roofer also confirmed this. He did recommend products from Bauder, but I think there will not be big differences compared to Linzmeier.
Many thanks again!
