Roller shutter control via Shelly 2.5, any experience?

They have thought of everything at Shelly.
I still think that in this case, buttons are the nicer solution. Tap up - done. Tap down - done.

Yes, because the roller shutter motor is dumb and only runs when powered. The "luxury" is then handled by the Shelly.

Yes. That's why I said somewhere earlier that you should have those things installed right away or later, depending on your Monk intensity, replace all switches with buttons. The operation logic then is long press = move, short press = stop or if you have venetian blinds = stop/slat adjustment.
