answered correctly. But the completely correct answer to your question would be: Yes or No. With this tiny excerpt, you can practically do nothing. A serious answer is impossible.
Why? What reasons are there for that? Just take significantly more photos tomorrow.I still have a somewhat uneasy feeling about this.
I do not understand what is supposed to be unprofessional here.
What is supposed to be manageable when a floor is completely erected in 2 days? Surely no one will redo the 4th row from the bottom and the 3rd row from the top based on the builder’s feedback. The overlap measure must be 0.4h. At least at the marked spots it is not, I think I see even more, but that could also be due to the perspective. That this was not done in just one row (possibly due to bonding layer or overhang for perimeter insulation or something similar) indicates to me that the contractors do not know this binding rule or do not care if it is faster that way. Both are red flags, because if they don’t even follow this simple basic rule, what else might they be doing wrong? However, with very close monitoring this can of course be managed. The question is whether that outweighs a possibly lower price or not. If I had another alternative at hand with better work samples, I would approach them again to see if something could be done about the price (if that is the reason for the previous preference of the botcher).![]()
