Hi,
we have a hallway in the basement with a lamp with a two-way switch (light switches on the ground floor and basement). The light in the basement hallway is often forgotten to be turned off when quickly grabbing something from the basement. I am now wondering if one of the switches on the ground floor can be replaced with a switch that automatically turns off after a short time, for example, to turn off the light again after 30 seconds. Is that easy to do (for someone who has some experience with electricity like connecting lamps or outdoor electrical work with underground cables and lights) and what is needed for that? A quick search on the internet came up with the term "Wipptaster".
I would appreciate any tips and help. Thank you.
