Always remember: an insurance company is first and foremost a business that must generate profits for its owners. Otherwise, the entire insurance system would not work at all. As the policyholder, you are always the petitioner and there just to pay premiums.

For example, our fleet manager now contacts our lawyer after every accident – in the past, there were only problems if the opponent was insured with HUK, today that is almost always the case. And this is practically the same in every area.

I cannot confirm that. I would even say that this is rather a rare occurrence, at least according to my experiences. It doesn't take long to see that this looks more like a trick than an objective review. As mentioned here, the stamp is merely a nice accessory that does not grant any more or less correctness to a process. That is understandably very annoying!

Then you just have to convince the insurance now, which, in my opinion rightly, refers to formal errors and assumes that the hours were not performed to the extent claimed. Because the proof from the craftsman is missing, and without a signature, it is formally lacking. Everyone has to save, and this is a gift, almost like a penalty kick into an empty goal.

And I remain puzzled that work and especially timesheets, which serve as the basis for subsequent invoicing, are not signed. You shouldn’t be surprised afterwards, and I won’t do that anymore now.

Good luck.

What kind of right is that supposed to be? Nitpicking is a German hobby, not a right.

As I understand it, it is not about the signature of the craftsman at all, but about the signature of the thread creator. Complete nonsense action by the insurance,

Why should I as a customer be obligated to sign a report slip? Am I supposed to stand behind the craftsman all day? If the insurance wants that, then they should please assign one of their employees to inspect and document the work after completion or pay me for my time. That would, of course, require me to take time off. Especially for work taking place outside the house, I see no need to stay at home. With companies I know, the work is discussed in the morning and the craftsman receives a key.
