Repair roller shutters, prefabricated house, 30 years old, normal ones do not fit

we have a prefabricated house from the company Streif Haus. It is now about 30 years old and the plastic roller shutters are tearing. We have now tried to get other roller shutters. Unfortunately, the slats of the old roller shutters are very flat, the rails only about 1 cm wide, so that the new slats available today - more curved - do not fit.

Does anyone have an idea how to repair the roller shutters?

You cannot insert new rails because the rails are firmly connected to the window.

just an idea:

In various special trucks (for example fire trucks) the body is equipped with roller shutters.

These metal roller shutters (I suspect aluminum) probably have a thickness of about 1 cm and are absolutely flat.

Maybe such roller shutters could be an option for your house?

Just ask a special vehicle manufacturer. (Ziegler, Metz, Empl...)
