Hello
I have installed the above-mentioned venetian blinds for angled windows at my house.
Unfortunately, shortly after installation, they caused trouble as shown in the pictures, as they gradually drive up more and more crooked.
The problem is that when the right side already hits the box at the top, the motor does not stop but continues running until the left side is also completely at the top.
On this occasion, the bands on the right side shown in the picture have already torn several times.
Unfortunately, the manufacturer Reflexa claims that it is not due to a faulty product, but alternately that it is wear and tear, misuse, or that an object got stuck there, among other things.
The first time I was charged €500 for the repair. For the next two times, it was repaired out of "goodwill."
Now, on the fourth time, they are ignoring the issue.
Are there similar experiences or ideas on how to solve this – thanks in advance!

That sounds like a dispute to me! You will probably only manage that with a lawyer. Hopefully you have legal expenses insurance.

Since when does legal protection cover construction? Oh, I forgot that you are a lawyer expert...

I did not exactly understand what is "slanted" about the windows. It sounds like one side of the blinds extends further than the other and therefore has a longer strap. Is that correct?

The damage analysis is not entirely conclusive for me, because if I were to design a blind, I would not dimension the motor so powerfully that it could tear a retaining strap. That would be uneconomical for me. Does the strap on the shorter side always tear in the same place?

Always rushing to a lawyer – they won’t run away if all other options have been exhausted. Whether the blind belongs to the building or not depends on when and through whom it was purchased and installed – in addition, there are different contract conditions in legal protection insurance.

The question is fundamentally who installed it in the first place.

The windows are just under the roof and therefore the top edge is not horizontal - so it’s slanted. Just take a look at Reflexa’s "AsyFlex Raffstore for the most slanted windows" advertisement and it should become clear. In any case, these crappy things do not reliably wind the tapes evenly, causing situations like in the attached picture. If no one pays attention, it goes into the box and the tape on the side that first goes into the box tears mercilessly because the motors have no resistance detection or limit switches installed. According to Reflexa, however, everything is perfectly fine and the customer is doing something wrong ... :-) All I can say is stay away!
