Re-roofing, roof tiles not possible

There are light concrete roof tiles such as the Braas Doppel-S Aerolox. Roof tiles are always heavy. Plastic roof shingles weigh 5-6 kg per sqm.

Unfortunately, the Braas Doppel-S Aerolox also weighs 3 kg, with about 10 pieces per sqm we are at 30 kg/sqm, but only 15 kg/sqm are allowed.

In a residential building with a metal roof, I experienced that the sound of the rain is by no means tinny. I did not ask for the brand. After all, it is not a simple corrugated metal covering.

We have a metal roof, the panels look like tiles. If there is enough insulation in the roof, you don’t hear the rain inside. We have had ours on for 20 years now, and under the circumstances, I would choose it again. They come in different lengths, you can have the suitable length made for you. But then you need a few people to lay them, the things are not heavy but cumbersome. We laid them three years ago on a shed at my son’s place.

The so-called sandwich roof system would be a possible option; there are manufacturers, information, etc. available online.

Thank you for the answers. The roof is currently not insulated. So far, there is only the Berliner wave on it. Insulating material lies on the drywall ceiling. Therefore, I don't know if it won't be too loud with a sheet/aluminum roof. We once had a roofer here. However, he wanted 50,000 euros for a 160 sqm bungalow, which seemed a bit much to us. Therefore, information should be gathered first. On the internet you find a lot, from sheet/metal roofs to aluminum (Prefa). We (or rather my parents) are worried about the noise level if it rains. What do you understand by sheet roof if you don't mean corrugated sheet roof? Do you still know the manufacturer? I'll take a look, thanks!
