Now I'm at a loss again I wanted a 60cm Rationell light under a 60cm wall cabinet. So I need the extra connection cable. So far so good. However, my power comes from above (is that unusual??) and I would have to run the cable through or behind the cabinet... that’s clear, but the on and off switch isn’t on the lamp but on the cable! And then it hangs right in the middle of the cabinet?? Are there solutions or another lamp version that is better suited?? Regards Birte

Just nail the switch exactly where you want it. Stuff the cable into the lamp compartment and if it's not long enough, coil the remaining cable and stick it somewhere.

Hmm. I really didn’t like that because I would have had to make fairly large holes in the bottoms and back panel... my power outlet is unfortunately behind the display cabinet, it already looks stupid... I spontaneously took another system today, Utrusta and Omlopp remote control including transformer... or whatever that thing is called. ACTUALLY brilliant, exactly what I’m looking for... can hide the cables and switch the lights with one remote control... but unfortunately it just doesn’t work! I can turn the light strip on and off with the switch on the power cable, but the programming of the remote control doesn’t work... no matter how I press anything, or both, it doesn’t work. I’m now wondering if the remote control or maybe both are defective? Definitely annoying, now I guess I’ll have to bring all three parts back on Monday.

I don't understand now what becomes easier with the system at the connection. Ansluta has to be plugged into the socket behind the cabinet just like with the RATIONELL lighting.

Did you follow the steps in

? Did it blink as described? Are the batteries in the remote control okay?

easier for me because then I can’t turn the light in the closet on and off and .. maybe I also thought too complicated

Yes, I followed the steps like that... The remote control always blinks very briefly.. but otherwise nothing happens... The light on the transformer doesn’t blink at all and goes off again after some time.. I put in new batteries.

Maybe the radio unit in the transformer is broken. I thought of attaching the switch, for example, directly next to or behind the light at the bottom of the cabinet.
