Rational excerpts - extraction rails

I registered here because I hope you know more.

I have the Rationell pull-outs in my kitchen, but already the ones with soft-close. I replaced them just before the "End of Faktum" during a complete renovation along with the new fronts.

But the one under the sink no longer wanted to close properly. I then removed the dampers, but that (of course) was not the cause.

The tension springs of the closing mechanism were broken on both sides. This door is also used much more often than all the others, especially when you have to cook every day.

I first removed one spring each from two other small pull-outs. Now it works again.

So, and now my question: Can anyone tell me where I could buy these springs as spare parts? Does anyone know such tension springs? Somehow I suspected that the rails correspond to the Hettich system. But consumers can’t get those, right? And you can’t buy rails individually anymore, correct?

Well, there is a new drawer available through the replacement service, but not for much longer. It’s also 45 cm deep, I should check. But somehow I can’t accept buying a whole drawer just because of the springs.

Can anyone help me?

It depends on which manufacturer you have. Ikea has sold either Hettich or Blum drawers (type Tandembox with slight modifications) in Germany under the name Rationell, depending on the catalog year. Take a photo of the cabinet rails with the drawer removed and show us that.

An alternative would be to replace the entire drawer with a new one from Maximera. It basically fits into the cabinet, but you will probably need to drill new holes in the cabinet and on the front.

Well, when I already complained about such a rail after half a year, I got the answer that these items, purchased in the Faktum clearance sale, only had a 2-year warranty and that time must be up by now.

But IKEA expert, you're right, it might be worth trying.
Maybe I'll drive over to Holland sometime. They were always much more lenient with spare parts.

Sure, the trash can and the cutlery drawer are used more often than the others and there is always a lot going on in our household, cooking takes place daily. But others do that too, right?

When did you buy them? At least for everything purchased until August 2014, a 25-year warranty must be provided.
