Well, 180 m2 is not small :) But of course, not a villa either. Have you looked into the additional costs? Or doesn't it matter?

We also have quite high room heights in our two-story single-family house (ground floor: 258cm; upper floor: 267cm). But we have normally high room doors (2m?!). Honestly, I would now like higher doors. Not because we are that tall (1.87m/1.74m/0.85m), but for the look and possibly also more comfortable for "tall" guests. We have an acquaintance who is just under 2m tall. We didn’t think about the door height during the construction or before. It just wasn’t on our radar. Our construction manager never brought up the topic either... but even if he had, I don’t know if we would have chosen a different door height?!

Just because of the guests' height, it's probably not necessary. We (he just under 2m, and I just over 1.8m) recently visited an acquaintance. His door frames are only 1.80m high (old house). My friend had no problems, but I bumped my head on EVERY door frame. For a very simple reason: I am used to being able to walk through every door frame upright. My friend, on the other hand, is used to automatically ducking his head (we even have a door frame at home only 1.90m). Although I find higher doors consistently more pleasant. It already starts when you just want to transport a slightly larger flowerpot :D It just has to visually match the room height.

I did not expect that you would open an extra thread about this and have already answered yourself here: (with the result "pro 213 cm").

Our rooms are 2.65 m. The doors are floor-to-ceiling (so only about 5 cm lower than the ceiling from the door frame). Looks great! Sure, the doors appear slim in proportion, but that also makes them elegant. But is it worth the significant extra cost? Well, you do look at them every day ...
