Question about the Ikea Metod hanging rail

Hello everyone,
I have a question as a layperson. I hope I can express myself somewhat clearly.
Technicians came to attach the suspension rail to the wall. However, the plates are facing "downwards" and not sideways as shown in the instructions. Could this cause problems when hanging the cabinets because then there is no space left for the hooks on the cabinet? Does it affect the stability?
Was possibly the wrong screw/anchor size chosen here?

It doesn't really matter whether the tiles hang vertically or horizontally. It looks better if you don't use countersunk screws, but rather ones with a round head. What is really important, of course, is that the rail is firmly (!) and evenly mounted.

What material is the wall made of? The size of the wall plugs cannot be determined. Maybe they are size 8 plugs, that would probably be okay in terms of diameter, but the type and length also still matter.

So just from the look of it, I think it fits so far. A screw every 20cm is okay. And you can ultimately hang a kitchen cabinet on a single screw with an 8mm plug.

Thanks Knallkörper and Seat88 for the answers! Where would the general advantage of countersunk screws be compared to those with a pan head? The installers said they didn't have the right screw length with them, so some screws stick out more from the plate than others. Does that not matter for stability? I am asking these things so I can learn something right away. It is a sand-lime brick wall.

I am uploading two more photos. Does the plate from Ikea fulfill its function even though it is bent? Does the rusty plate (not from Ikea) fulfill the same function?

The plates yes. The rail no. It is upside down if I'm not mistaken.
