I don't think it's that intense. We have almost no single sockets (the extra cost is minimal since the wiring is being installed anyway) and when I look at how many power strips we currently use. Example living room/TV area: TV, receiver, CD player, amplifier with two sockets, Wii for the kids, BluRay player, accessories for the amplifier to make it Wi-Fi capable ==> 8 sockets! Two illuminated display cabinets ==> 2 sockets Charging cables notebook + phone ==> 2 sockets Two lamps ==> 2 sockets Vacuum cleaner connection ==> at least 1 socket Without a free socket, I already have 15 devices that need a socket. My wife would also like to have a socket at every window for Christmas decorations etc. So I'm already at 20 sockets just in the living room! In the kitchen, it goes on like this: connections fridge, freezer, microwave, extractor hood, lighting in cabinets, lighting under wall cabinets, various sockets at the countertop. Just walk through your current apartment/house and look at what devices are connected, what might still be added, etc. If you don't do it now, you'll regret it later (bathroom: "It would have been nice to have a socket here. Now I have to dry my hair, the electric toothbrush needs charging, the husband also has to deal with the electric shaver and it's already tight.)140 sockets?! Intense. I don't think we really need that many.
