Hello,
Then take notes/space and discuss the actual execution on site (in the shell construction) with the electrician.
Exactly - the electrician will then mark your wishes on the walls so that his team knows where to place what accordingly. Then he will make you an offer for the additional services.
- plan for the future (with regard to current developments) - the trend is increasingly moving towards networking, e.g. refrigerator - it makes sense to plan something in advance here
- make a list of the existing/desired electrical appliances for, e.g., kitchen, living room, office - go through this list to determine which devices are used permanently (fixed socket) or only occasionally (a work socket in the kitchen is sufficient - in the living room possibly just by plugging/unplugging or a temporary power strip solution is feasible)
- which devices do you plan to acquire in the near future (2-3 years) (for us, e.g., a surround system) - you should have corresponding preparations made or sockets installed for this
- what luxury would you like to have? e.g., central switch for the electric shutters; KNX
Last but not least:
Plan enough capital. We had budgeted 1,500 euros for the additional services plus capital for the satellite system. Our general contractor said that he had already planned an improved electrical installation. When the electrician’s offer came in, we were first stunned (more than three times the budgeted amount plus satellite system) and then the red pencil was used again. We were able (and had) to successfully reduce again and also had to bury one or another wish (preparation of the central control for the electric shutters).
Nevertheless, there will be some who would say that we got off relatively cheaply with the offer.
