Think it then works without. I'm unsure. Ask painter....

I tried today to find out how plastering is done, whether the slots are closed beforehand and then the plaster is applied, or if everything is done in one work step.

According to my construction supervisor, the first option should be avoidable.

Unfortunately, I couldn't reach anyone at the plastering company and I don't trust the statements of the site manager.

He only comes once a week to check things.

You miss out on far too much that way.

The filler for the slots should not be "fresh" anymore when the plaster is applied. I do not consider it practical to do both in one working step – and it indicates that plastering is done with the filler. It is like trying to compensate for a missing concealer with more foundation – different application areas are, in my opinion, a valid reason for differently composed products :)
