Hello,

I am looking for a meaningful answer.

Our house is about to be plastered inside, but before that the vapor barrier needs to be fixed. Now I have heard that it is sensible to fill in wall chases (created for electrical wiring) before plastering inside in order to prevent cracks.

Is that correct?

Our construction supervisor would not do that and considers it unnecessary.

What is correct now?

It would be wise to do it. Too thick plaster shrinks so much during drying that cracks can and will occur.

I almost feared that.

They are just the slots from the electrician in Poroton.

My site manager said that was unnecessary.

I'm already on it, based on a recommendation ;)

I always do that in the evening after work

It's a shame that the BU doesn't do something like that.

And yet he advertises quality without compromise

60 kg are already in the slots

Ours didn't do it either. With some sockets there was nothing, with others I then reworked it with tube filler. Our walls are not wallpapered.
