Our civil engineer planned and carried out the work based on the drawings from the architect and the structural engineer. The transitions from the concrete floor slab to the timber construction were coordinated between the civil engineer and the carpenter. I only ensured communication between them. All regional companies that know each other and like to work together (this was a criterion in our selection).

Good tip!

Would you like to tell us why you separate basement/slab and prefabricated house builder? We are building a prefabricated house without a basement/with a slab and, due to expected interface problems etc., decided not to have the slab made by another company. As a somewhat cautious layperson, I was worried that we would get caught between the prefab manufacturer and the slab builder. I don’t know if we are paying an exaggerated amount of money for the slab and what belongs to it (9.40m x 9.40m about 20,000 euros), but it is worth it to us. We were told that if we separate the slab from the house construction package, the slab builder must also take over the statics. (?!?) I understand correctly, you are building the prefabricated house with a basement and additionally need the slab for a garage? May I ask in which federal state or region? Just out of interest.

I think the idea of a house in timber frame construction is quite good.

Regarding the plot. It is just as it is. Therefore, we have to move some earth from back to front. But the height difference is only 1.8 m over 24 m anyway :-)

Hi Pinkiponk. That was the opinion from various sources so far :)
Of course, there is the interface problem, but it certainly does no harm to get additional offers for certain trades. However, that doesn’t mean that one (I) has to do it that way. And that is why it is good to hear different opinions in the forum :)
The house is without a basement. Floor slab for the house and floor slab for the garage.

Hi Hanghaus2000. There isn’t one yet. We are still in the snooping phase :-)

You already have the plot? With a slope. Sounds interesting. The forum often helps with deciding where to place the house. Don't you have any idea how it should look?
