Hello,

the biggest challenge in our floor plan design at the moment is the living room. It is located in the southwest and I want to fit in a corner sofa, fireplace, and TV there. The corner sofa should preferably face the open space and not act as a room divider (only if there is no other option or if you have good ideas). The two smaller windows on the south and west can be positioned freely, either as corner windows or separately.
Now to my options:

1) Sofa in the southwest corner:
Here I would be sitting with my back to the window and would have no good view of the garden (south), and the TV would be directly opposite the window (reflection?). However, the fireplace is between the living and dining room (it should also be visible from the dining table) and is also clearly visible from the sofa.

2) Sofa in the northwest corner:
Here you look diagonally through the window into the garden and there are no reflections on the TV. However, the fireplace is only visible from the long side of the sofa if looking to the left.

What do you think is best or do you have other ideas on how to arrange everything differently? The fireplace must definitely be on the long wall of the north side. The TV should not be on the west wall; it does not have to be directly visible from the dining room.

I look forward to your suggestions.

You still have two threads open where you were asked to provide data. Are these questions not important enough to you (floor plan discussions) that you now only want to discuss the furnishings here?

Are these the right furniture with the right dimensions?

Yes, the other questions are also important to me and I would also like to continue discussing them. I will of course provide the data there as soon as possible.

Yes, the furniture is the one that is also supposed to be placed. Only the fireplace is indicated; it can of course be larger + wood storage, etc.

I would be happy to receive some suggestions and be able to incorporate them into my floor plan. Thanks in advance.

To balance the TV, I would additionally recommend a bookshelf besides the piano *SCNR*

Well then. The floor plan you provided here already has quite a few corners... without the upper floor you can't say anything about the stove... information is still missing in the other thread.. still [emoji6] ... it doesn't get better if you start three threads and come up with nothing.
Happy third Advent [emoji2]
