Hello everyone,

attached is our draft for the positioning of the house on the property. The picture already has a north orientation. There will be relatively many windows on the south side. I am planning not to go completely to the east for two reasons:

- longer garden area to the southern neighbor
- less paving effort
- breakfast terrace in the east

Your opinion?

Best regards

Which rooms will be in the NE on the ground floor? The carport could make the room even darker if there is only one window. Otherwise, I think the positioning is quite good – I would do it the same way :)

Thank you for the quick response.

In the north, the guest WC is located on the far left. Then follows the utility room with access to the carport. And in the NE is the office/guest room. However, this has two windows on the east side.
The carport extends beyond the house for two reasons:
a) access to the equipment shed of the carport
b) wind and privacy protection for the breakfast terrace

The carport should not become a double carport, as that would take up too much garden space in the south. Therefore, a second, small carport will be built later in the west.
