LED strips under the bed. It's quite pleasant when you have to get up at night or early in the morning and can illuminate the "path" without turning on the main lights right away :)

Both. First of all, always a ceiling light in the center of the room that nicely illuminates the space. Additionally, indirect lighting for a cozy atmosphere or to avoid waking your partner directly when you need to get up earlier and need light. With that, you can't go wrong at first.

Yes, that’s how we thought as well. I think more than one lamp on the ceiling in the room would be too much anyway.

As a ceiling lamp, I was also thinking of something with tunable white, so that in the morning you have a cold light color (4000-5000K) that really kicks, and then in the evening rather towards 2700K or less for the cozy atmosphere. Since we do smart home with KNX and DALI, all of that can be easily retrofitted.

In the bathroom likewise, so that in the morning you take a really cold light (daylight white) to really wake up properly even in winter, and in the evening then also towards 2300K or so.

That's exactly what I have already planned! I have deliberately provided a cable outlet with DALI at the bottom of the bed, so you can also work with an RGB LED strip there, which is centrally controlled - I want to work a lot with scenes. And there is also a switched socket at the top of the wardrobe, so the wardrobe light at the top can also be integrated into the central control.

68mm borehole is just standard, of course you can’t really put a recessed spotlight with reflector in 42mm. The type of spotlight is naturally important for the lighting effect in the room. Surface-mounted panels create different light and are also less common in 2700K. Send me the room dimensions and the heights, then I can put something together in Relux.

Cool, thanks a lot already! As a Mac user, unfortunately I couldn't do this myself..
