Well, I have aerated concrete in my exterior wall and ALL interior walls with 24 cm KS. The 'algae growth' is a fundamental problem that occurs with every high-insulation method, whether stone or ETICS. The problem is that the stones are cooler outside because less energy passes from inside to outside, and then the warm air condenses on the surface, which leads to algae growth. I have the problem too (however, only on the north wall because no sun warms the stone) even though I don’t have ETICS but an aerated concrete block.

And which exterior plaster (topcoat)? Mineral exterior plaster or silicone resin plaster or silicate plaster or...?

is a lime-cement plaster, floated and painted. I have painted a partial area experimentally with a paint containing fungicides (I’m actually not a fan of this because it washes out and gets into the environment, and the protection is gone after 3-5 years) it stays white while the rest of the facade turns green. now in summer it is hardly noticeable.

Which color was originally used? As far as I understand, mineral top plaster always needs to be painted. And a silicone resin paint is recommended. There are, as far as I know, also versions without fungicides.

Completely irrelevant? We currently live in a prefabricated house / timber frame construction (13 years old) and the heat definitely does not only come in through the windows.

There is also no mass present that first has to be warmed up or can absorb heat. Prefabricated houses are probably well insulated and also more easily meet the KfW requirements, but they probably also cool down faster, though they also heat up faster again. So there are more fluctuations upwards in summer and faster downwards in winter when the heating is off... That was never an option for us anyway. In addition, high-quality prefabricated houses are usually even more expensive than solid houses...

If money plays a subordinate role, sand-lime brick with a ventilated curtain wall facade solution. Visually appealing, good sound insulation, and algae growth significantly less frequent.
